Welcome to mommy blogging

It is true; women are the backbone of our society. Or well at least the center of our marketing and advertising world. Women control the bulk of their family’s spending; mostly on groceries, household products, home furnishings and appliances as well as on big ticket items like cars and vacations.  So mothers who need a better outlet for discussion concerning mothering other then that of which they get at the local playground, they turn to the internet to create their sorority. It’s no wonder when companies are keen to get mothers as product proselytizer just to be mentioned on a popular mothers site.  Its here that mommy blogging has not only become popular, but an untapped resource for the economics of motherhood. Many of these sites like CanadianParents.com, or urbanmoms.com have answers and hints to many of parental problems and questions such as general pressure, to breastfeeding and the negative effects of post-partum depression all the way to fashion lines for pregnant women and gossip and antic of the latest celebrities. On these logs are raw and honest writing creating a platform for mothers to step up onto and allow for real interaction with mothers with real concerns.
