Angelina Jolie

UPDATE: Yep. Angelina has given birth! Now we just have to wait for the first baby pictures.

Angelina Jolie has given birth to a girl and a boy. The obstetrician who delivered the twins, Dr. Michel Sussmann, told The Associated Press that the actress, the babies and Jolie's partner, Brad Pitt, "are doing marvelously well."
Sussmann said Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Caesarean section on Saturday night.
On Sunday morning it was released that the boy weighed just over 5 pounds and the girl 5 pounds. The 33-year-old actress gave birth at around 8 p.m. on Saturday night.
Pitt was there during the operation, said the doctor, who delivered the twins at the seaside Lenval hospital in Nice in southern France.

Back to Work

This actress- ex wife of Billy Bob Thornton and estranged daughter of actor John Voight- first grabbed the attention of America as a strung out model in the movie Gia, and awed Oscar viewers by lip wrestling with her brother after accepting an award for Girl Interrupted. But these days instead of taunting the tabloids with her tales of self mutilation and sexual escapades, Jolie is directing her peculiar energy into changing the world. After reading about the world’s strong refugee population, Angelina got involved with the UN to help these refugees. In 2001 Jolie was appointed the Goodwill Ambassador by the UN’s High Commissioner for Refugees. Jolie has traveled the world helping in some of the most desolate areas. Angelina has even adopted a little boy (Maddox) from one of her trips to Cambodia. Angelina Jolie has certainly impressed her collegues of the UNHCR. Not since Audrey Hepburn have we seen a superstar with such a selfless avocation. The world has not seen enough of Angelina Jolie, but how many more movies will she actually do.
